Situated right on the beachfront in Batubelig, just north of Seminyak, five-bedroom Villa LeGa is a masterpiece of contemporary design, offering its guests lavish comfort, a central location, great facilities and a full team of staff including a manager, butlers, housekeeping, private chef and 24-hour security. This is as idyllic as it gets for families looking to holiday on the beach in Bali, close to all the action yet blissfully private.
Villa LeGa’s large air-conditioned living room opens onto the pool deck and features a dining area furnished with a handsome wooden table for 12 and a fully-fitted kitchen. More comfortable lounging space can be found upstairs in the TV lounge, outside on the furnished terrace, and at the intimate rooftop deck above the entrance. Each elegant, spacious bedroom is furnished with a king-sized bed and fitted with a dressing area and semi-tropical ensuite bathroom. Upstairs, two master bedrooms enjoy ocean and sunset views while ground floor guest rooms face the pool. In the immaculate private walled garden, a 12-metre swimming pool is surrounded by a hardwood sun deck furnished with plenty of loungers, shaded by fragrant frangipani trees.
Dining at LeGa is a treat. The villa’s talented chef prepares tempting dishes from a suggestion menu and can accommodate special dietary requests or arrange a sensational seafood barbecue. Villa LeGa is also within easy walking distance of Bali’s most fashionable beach venues including the trendy W Retreat & Spa as well as authentic traditional beach restaurants.

Villa LeGa is located on Batu Belig beach on the northern side of Seminyak. Batu Belig is also home to some of the most glamorous beach clubs in the whole of Bali, and indeed in Asia.
You won’t find many beachfront villas in Seminyak, which makes the location extra special. With the ocean at your doorstep, great eateries nearby, and lush rice fields only ten minutes away, this offers the best of all the worlds. You’re also a very short beach walk away from the glamour and glitz of Seminyak hotspots such as Potato Head, and W Hotel. This really is the perfect spot if you want to be right where the action is, or if you want to create the action yourself by organising your own Bali birthday party at the villa.
The beach itself is of soft yellow sand. On most days it also provides the perfect conditions for surfers.
Walking along the beach to the north, you’re 5 minutes from the new Mari Beach Club, 10 minutes from Café Del Mar and 20 minutes away from the stunning Finns Recreation Club, and a half-hour walk to the south will bring you to Seminyak Square, one of the island’s most popular shopping malls.

Here’s a quick overview of some of the many and varied activities on offer within easy reach of the villa.
- Villa Lega is within walking distance of Seminyak’s most glamourous beach clubs including W hotel and Potato Head — perfect for watching the sunset.
- A nice sunset alternative is to walk along the sand towards Berawa Beach (2km) where there are plenty of cafés offering great views and cold beer. A little further down towards Batu Bolong Beach, you’ll find Old Mans, another sunset institution. It has a relaxed Sydney-style beer garden, casual meals and live music on the weekend.
- Hotel Tugu, a very stylish and eclectic boutique hotel, is just a hundred metres further up the road and was created by one of Indonesia’s premier art collectors. It provides a range of atmospheric dining experiences.
- Bali attracts some of the world’s top DJ talent. Clubs like Jenja, En-Vie in Seminyak and SkyGarden in nearby Kuta will keep you entertained into the early hours
- Fashionistas, trendies and shop-a-holics should hot-foot it down to Seminyak, one of the most cosmopolitan areas in Bali. Here, you can indulge for hours in stylish and chic boutiques.
- There is a wide choice of fine dining, mid-range and cheap ‘n cheerful restaurants in Seminyak too. Fine dining venues include Sardine and Métis.
- Sports enthusiasts should head to Bali’s prestigious Finns Recreation Club, with its state-of-the-art gym and tennis and squash courts. Round off your workout with some fine international dining, then stock up on gourmet goodies at the nearby Canggu Deli.

- Villa LeGa is just 15km from the famous sea temple of Tanah Lot. This is one of the most sacred temples in Bali and also one of its most popular tourist attractions. Especially during peak season, you can expect a lot of people and camera phones if you visit during sunset. We always advise visiting early in the morning (8-9am) when there are less people and you’ll have a much better chance to really experience the power of this location.
- Explore the scenic rice-field landscape and rural villages by bicycle; a great way to get under the skin of the ‘real’ Bali. Stop off at a local warung (eatery) to sample some basic Balinese fare or cool off with a cold drink.
- Covering 3.8 hectares of tropical parkland in Kuta, Waterbom Bali has 16 water slides (including The Climax with its 360 degree loop) to entertain the young and the young at heart. A great family day out, but go early to beat the crowds.

The personal chef at Villa LeGa is at your service to prepare daily breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The villa offers an extensive suggestion menu of delicious home-style meals featuring Asian and international dishes to cater to all tastes, with an excellent selection of vegetarian and children’s options. The chef is also more than happy to tailor meals to accommodate any special dietary requirements. A stay is not complete without sampling the chef’s pepes ikan (fish steamed in banana leaf), satay ayam (chicken satay on bamboo skewers) or pisang goreng (fried banana) with ice cream.
Groceries and beverages are charged at cost price plus 20%++ handling fee. Guests will be requested to provide grocery money in advance, and the staff will do the shopping and keep the receipts for reference. To make the most of the kitchen and give staff time to shop, it is a good idea to plan meals the evening before.
