Travelling to Indonesia

Tourists from the following countries (including but not limited to) Bahrain, China, France, Hungary, India, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Liechtenstein, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, and United Arab Emirates are welcome to visit Indonesia via Bali (Ngurah Rai International Airport) or Riau Islands (Raja Haji Fisabililah International Airport).

All foreign visitors entering Indonesia will be required to present a negative COVID-19 PCR test with the sample being taken within 72 hours of their departure. International tourists are also required to quarantine for 7 days.


Indonesia is accepting applications for the Single Visit Visa (B-211), allowing one to stay for 60 days in the country. The visa can be extended up to four times, with each extension for a maximum of 30 days. Thus, you could spend up to six months in Bali or nearby islands if the visa criteria are met.

Requirements for International Tourists:

  • International health insurance with minimum coverage of USD 100,000, including but not limited to COVID-19 related treatment and hospitalization in Indonesia and
  • Hotel confirmation
  • COVID-19 Vaccination Registration

    The Indonesian Government recognizes the following vaccinations (including but not limited to): Pfizer, Moderna, Sinovac, AstraZeneca and Sinopharm, Johnson & Johnson.

    International travellers are required to present their COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card in digital or hard copy upon arrival in Indonesia. They will also be required to acquire a vaccination registration that allows dining in, entering public premises, and travelling via public transport.
