Helene's House
The villa you chose is no longer available for rental from us but we have a portfolio of Elite Havens in various locations around South East Asia for you to choose from. Alternatively feel free to send us an enquiry and it'll be our pleasure to help you find the perfect villa for your next holiday.
Tranquil mornings in Bali’s cultural center of Ubud begin with birdsong and temple bells. At Helene's House, yours also include made-to-order coffee and a delicious breakfast featuring fresh tropical fruit shared around the elegant ten-seater dining table.
A design-forward, centrally located Ubud holiday home, Helene’s House offers five-bedrooms for large groups or families seeking to explore this beautiful part of Bali. Ideally located, this fully staffed Ubud villa sits on Jalan Bisma in the very centre of town, a short walk from the Sacred Monkey Forest and Ubud’s best art galleries, yet ensconced guests in privacy.
Stately yet playful, the villa has a way of slowing your pace and heightening your senses as you soak in every design detail: soft velvet upholstery, pops of color against dramatic black-and-white floors, Ubud’s jungle greens alive in every window. Sink into the copper bathtub of the master suite and you'll find yourself framed by a carved Balinese doorway. Following the aromas leads you downstairs where kitchen staff members are already plating a delicious meal with ingredients sourced that day from local markets.
The villa’s open-air rooftop spaces invite movie and game nights together, or centered moments of catered wellness via a private massage followed by a dip in the rooftop jacuzzi, steam rising against a sky going violet over Ubud’s ricefields. Among villas in Ubud, Helene's House stands apart for its character, considered interiors, and close access to Bali’s cultural heart.

Walking distance from the Sacred Monkey Forest, Helene's House sits on Jalan Bisma, a one-way street running through the very centre of Ubud, Bali's cultural heartland. The town's galleries, cafés, boutiques and warungs (casual eateries) begin just beyond the gate. This is a rare Ubud villa from which you can wander to dinner, a gallery opening or a traditional dance performance and stroll home again under the frangipani trees. The Campuhan Ridge Walk, Ubud Palace and the town's morning market are also all a short ride away, while the rice UNESCO heritage rice terraces, holy water temples and volcano country of central Bali unfold to the north. Ngurah Rai International Airport is about 60 to 90 minutes by car, depending on traffic conditions.
