Situated on the quiet eastern side of the Bukit Peninsula, in the very south of Bali, Nusa Dua is known as the island’s prime luxury resort enclave. With its soft, sandy beaches, sheltering coral reefs and stunning cliff-tops, it’s good for sea swimming, snorkelling and beach combing.
Only 30 minutes by car from Bali’s international airport, the area has kept its reputation as a quiet hideaway for anyone wanting to experience nature and tranquillity in style. Perched among green hills and impressive cliff-tops overlooking the Indian Ocean, Nusa Dua oozes glamour, peacefulness and beauty.
Laid out as a large gated community, there’s usually little traffic in the area and a walkway gives you easy access to many of its sights. Take Geger Beach for example, blessed by Mother Nature with some of the warmest waters in Bali and a lovely cooling eastern breeze.
If you’re a golfer, you can improve your handicap at the Bali National Golf Club – a world-class course that celebrated its grand reopening in 2014; or the stunning cliff-top Bukit Pandawa Golf & Country Club, just along the coast.
Waterblow is one of our favourite things to do in Nusa Dua – but give it a miss if you don’t like getting your hair wet. A beautiful natural rock formation, it does exactly what it says on the tin by creating a giant water blow the moment the waves hit the rocks.
You’re only ever a short drive away from the rest of the Bukit Peninsula and Uluwatu, home to the world famous Uluwatu temple and some of the best surfing spots in Bali. Meanwhile, Seminyak - the island’s most sophisticated and vibrant area when it comes to shopping, cuisine and night life - is a forty-minute drive away.
Nusa Dua is an incredible spot if you’d like to experience Bali’s nature and tranquillity in style. Whether you’re looking for relaxation, romance, family time - or simply a lavish launch pad from which to explore the rest of island, our luxury villas in Nusa Dua will provide the perfect base for your holiday.
