Villa Carpe Diem Natai
The villa you chose is no longer available for rental from us but we have a portfolio of Elite Havens in various locations around South East Asia for you to choose from. Alternatively feel free to send us an enquiry and it'll be our pleasure to help you find the perfect villa for your next holiday.
Escape to the English seaside with a stay at Villa Carpe Diem, a colonial-style, two-storey beachfront villa set along the pristine shores of Natai Beach, also known as Phuket’s Billionaires’ Beach. Here, nature puts on a theatrical performance each day, and you have front-row seats to every sunrise, shifting tide, and golden-hour glow. True to its name, Carpe Diem, or ‘seize the day,’ this is a place that invites you to slow down, savour the present, and embrace life’s simplest pleasures.
Begin your morning with a quiet cup of coffee by the pool before wandering barefoot onto the beach for a moment of stillness while the world sleeps. Return to the gentle rhythm of villa life as the household begins to stir; the laughter of younger ones echoing through the double-height atrium, your teenager ambling sleepily into the living room, and your partner greeting you with a smile as you walk back from the shore. Nearby, friends and family emerge from the separate guest pavilion, gathering for a leisurely alfresco breakfast prepared by the villa’s ever-smiling chef.
The day unfolds slowly, watching the sea change colours, listening to the roar of the ocean, and enjoying all that the villa offers. A game of table tennis for the kids while you check your pending emails in the office (equipped with a printer and a three-person desk), afternoon swims in the beachfront pool, kayaking in the ocean, and a sunset beach walk towards the Natai fishing bridge close by, a star attraction for tourists in this area. A well-equipped gym keeps you in shape, with an adjoining sauna and massage room for you to experience famed Thai wellness. Come evening, head to Baba Beach Club just down the road for a change of scenery. Leave the kids behind to watch a movie (babysitters can be arranged) in the media room while the adults dress up for an evening out.
When your present is so idyllic and picture-perfect, you almost ‘will’ time to slow down. Gather those precious moments: the chatter around the table, shrieks of joy from the pool, and your partner’s hand in yours as you look out towards the ocean. Because at the end of the day, isn’t life simply a collection of these moments to hold dear? Villa Carpe Diem simply gives you the opportunity to create them.

Villa Carpe Diem is located on the quiet and exclusive Natai Beach in Phang Nga, just half an hour north of Phuket International Airport. Lack of crowds, an elite vibe, and tall coconut groves mark this stunningly beautiful strip of coastline. Private villas and a handful of resorts dot the area, with popular Baba Beach Club only 2 km away.
The area still retains an authentic and traditional feel, despite being known as the ‘Billionaires’ Beach’. Despite its tranquil setting, Villa Carpe Diem is only an hour away from Phuket’s popular beaches and nightlife. Nearby, the Aleenta resort offers award-winning dining, including the popular beachfront restaurant ‘The Edge’ for sophisticated candle-lit dinners. The more approachable Tim’s Café is a great place for coffee and bites, and Fashi for Thai Fusion. As the area is quite remote, we recommend booking cabs only through the Villa Manager or the Elite Concierge.
More information for Things to doVilla Carpe Diem’s Villa Manager and dedicated staff are always on hand to arrange transport, restaurant reservations, island excursions, and bespoke cultural experiences around Natai Beach and beyond. Whether you’re seeking laid-back beach days, immersive local encounters, or adventures across the Andaman Sea, there is plenty to discover within easy reach of the villa.
- Spend an evening at Baba Beach Club, just down the road from the villa, where beachfront dining, cocktails, and sunset DJ sessions offer a lively contrast to Natai’s otherwise tranquil shores. For something more sophisticated, a beachfront dinner at The Edge restaurant within Aleenta spices things up.
- Charter a luxury yacht or traditional longtail boat to explore the dramatic limestone karsts and emerald lagoons of Phang Nga Bay. Sea kayaking through hidden caves, snorkelling in secluded coves, and visiting floating fishing villages make for an unforgettable day out.
- Discover the underwater beauty of the Similan Islands on a snorkelling or diving excursion during the open season from mid-October to mid-May. Crystal-clear waters, vibrant coral reefs, and powder-soft beaches await.
- Rise before dawn for a trip to Samet Nangshe Viewpoint, one of southern Thailand’s most breathtaking sunrise spots overlooking the limestone islands of Phang Nga Bay. The villa team can also arrange private picnic breakfasts for an especially memorable morning.
- Families can enjoy kayaking and beach games directly in front of the villa, while older children may enjoy movie nights in the media room or guided excursions further afield. Babysitting services can also be arranged for evenings out. The villa offers two kayaks for guest use.
- Golf enthusiasts can tee off at Aquella Golf & Country Club or Blue Canyon Country Club, both within easy driving distance of the villa and known for their championship fairways and tropical scenery.
- Indulge in restorative wellness experiences without leaving the villa. Beachfront massages, yoga sessions, personal training, boxing lessons, and spa rituals can all be arranged in the villa’s dedicated wellness sala, complete with a sauna and private treatment area.
If you’re seeking an immersive holiday, Villa Carpe Diem offers you something special. Experience Thailand beyond the usual tourist trail through a collection of private cultural experiences curated exclusively for Carpe Diem guests. The Villa Manager can help arrange for any of these, on request:
- Accompanied by knowledgeable local guides, explore bustling morning markets, learn about regional ingredients alongside the villa chef, and come back to the villa for a hands-on Thai cooking class using freshly sourced produce. Or if you want insight into Royal Thai Cuisine, we can arrange for a cooking lesson by palace-trained chefs who reveal culinary secrets and dishes that were once exclusive to Thai royalty
- Traditional temple visits can be arranged, offering opportunities to receive blessings from local monks and gain insight into Buddhist customs and daily life in southern Thailand.
- Learn centuries-old silk weaving techniques from fourth-generation master, Khun Siri, whose family has perfected their craft since the reign of King Rama V. These intimate sessions occur in the villa’s private spaces, allowing for deep conversations about Thai cultural traditions while creating your own silk masterpiece.
- Meet the master woodcarvers who restored Bangkok’s most sacred temples and discover their wood carving secrets. Working with traditional tools and techniques passed down through generations, you’ll learn the spiritual significance behind every carved detail while creating your own meaningful piece.
- Craft your own bronze bell using ancient techniques alongside monks who create instruments for meditation centers throughout Thailand. This rare experience combines metalworking skills with Buddhist philosophy in sessions unavailable to the general public.
- Join revered meditation masters for pre-dawn meditation sessions in secluded temple grounds. These aren’t your typical group meditation classes, but instead an opportunity for spiritual guidance by experienced monks.
- If you are world curious, you will love this session on ancient fermentation methods with village elders. Discover traditional food preservation techniques that sustained Thai communities for centuries.
- Join local healers to gather medicinal herbs and learn traditional preparation methods that form the basis of Thai traditional medicine. These experiences provide insight into the holistic approach to health that permeates Thai culture.
