    Our stay at Villa Alamanda was amazing. Everyone is very kind. Thank you for your beautiful hospitality, care, service, and respect for our families. Nyoman's food was amazing, one of the best. Me and my families have tried his Indonesian and Balinese cooking, was a pleasure trying. Made and Putri are always smiling. The Villa was amazing. Hope to come back soon.

    We had an amazing stay here. Nyoman is a fantastic chef and we totally love everything that he made. Martabal and Sambal being my personal favorite. Made and Putri were always there to assist us with their warm smile and hospitality. The security guard who couldn't speak a word of English, but how warmly he assisted us just touched my heart. Ely, thank you for your warm gesture. I am totally touched by the kindness of the whole team. Thank you for such an amazing experience. Lots of love, God bless.

    We had a wonderful time in Allamanda Villa. The place is beautiful. The staff was so attentive and service exceeded our expectations. The food was a delight, very well presented.     Our family stayed at Villa Alamanda to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary. We are thoroughly enjoyed our stay and especially loved all the delicious meals made by Nyoman. We are vegetarian and he was able to meet our dietary needs and exceed our expectations. The rest of the staff - Ely, Putri, Made were fantastic and very friendly. Ely was very helpful in booking us transport and providing suggestions for places of interest. The property is lovely and lush, perfect place to be when heavy rains limit our options.

    We have been to many villas in Bali over the years. What we found is special about this wasn't just about the beautifully kept gardens, pool and rooms. The cook made us meals which were better than dishes in most restaurants here, the staff were attentive and yet not intrusive. I sat working on verandah and Deduk (Made) approached me to ask if he could get me some snacks and drinks. That same service level was offered from all staff throughout our stay. It rained incredibly during our first few days here and the staff made sure we had prompt transport when needed, kept us dry in front of cars and even suggested where we should go to enjoy Bali despite the heavy rain. We will be back! Highly recommended.

    We enjoyed our relaxing stay at the villa. The property provided spaces together as a family as well as spaces to enjoy alone. We thoroughly enjoyed the private pool area. The gardens are beautiful and well-maintained. A huge thank you to the chef and the staff who took excellent care of us. We loved trying new foods and having all our meals made for us!     It was lovely to be able to come back to the tank to the tranquill environment of the villa after the chaos and madness of Ubud town and the long all day sightseeing. The villa staff are amazing and we especially loved the villa grandma that blesses the villa. Everyone is so welcoming, friendly and hard-working. Beautiful people, beautiful environment.     The perfect getaway to relax and reset. Isolated in the middle of nature, the property is beautiful and serene. Ely, Nyoman, Made and rest of staff were perfect. All requests were met seamlessly, while their presence was scarcely felt. Chef Nyoman's homemade meals were delicious from beginning to end, every day. Fresh fruit, coffee, local cuisine, what else can one asked for? The pool and rooms were spacious and clean. The property was splendid in every way.     No words can even describe the spectacular and amazing service during our stay at Alamanda!! Ely - so sweet and efficient. Nyoman - our very own superman who whips out the most delicious food. Plus doing all the shopping not only for food but even went the miles to shop for baju for us. Putri - ever wearing a smile attentive and don't forget to ask for her superbly refreshing H2O melon juice. Putu - unassuming and quietly diligent what a sheer delight! Made - crisp white sheets and make our rooms so clean and pleasant to sleep in. Arta & the gardeners - a big thank you for keeping the grounds and making us feel so safe.

    What a privilege to stay in this beautiful house. It's very elegant and calming the garden are stunning and beautifully kept (a credit to the gardeners). The pool area is stunning with its rainforest backdrop. We had many hours of family fun there. And in the pavilion beside. Thank you to all the staff for their excellent service. They were always there if you needed them but never hovered. The food has been excellent. I will miss the lovely breakfasts. Our little family gathered here to celebrate my wife and my 50th wedding anniversary and it has been perfect. Our celebration dinner was held at Locavore restaurant in Ubud (it is a great place for a special occasion - 18 courses). My wife and I first came to Bali in 1975. When we stayed in Denpasar and came to Ubud, eating at Murni's Warung which is still there today. Ubud was a very small, quiet artist retreat. Thank you for a wonderful experience so many years later.

    A lovely stay here at Villa Alamanda All the ingredients for a relaxing escape far from city noise and bustle The owners have created a hugely personal and individual home with delightful finishing an artwork. The staff, without exception are on hand for anything you might need and the food is delicious We use our two weeke stay to explore and it's worth taking trips to Flores. And experiencing life on a boat for a couple of days. Ubud is fascinating to explore More locally the walks in the village are enchanting. Here you really feel and experience culture.     Aloha from Maui! The Villa is lovely in every way. Even more beautiful are the people who enhance the experience. Every meal a smiling delight. A delicious grin, a peaceful and fulfilling send off to a Bali adventure or jungle sleep. The home and gardens are stunning and unique. The pool procession and pool, God is setting is difficult to leave. The property refinements occur over the years to come and we will suggest enhancement opportunity with management. What more can you say that the wildlife is not already singing about? How much more paint can you add to the mossy stone carvings? The chattering insects, the building the billowing flowers and the hints of incense swirl with the distant laughter or village children. The jungle pond, the song of frogs, a secret shower, it's all but a dream....A vivid, rich dream

    We spent 3 lovely days here at Villa Alamanda. The food was delicious and the kitchen was able to whipped the dishes we wanted.     Thank you to all the brilliant staff at Villa Alamanda. Nyoman's cooking was delicious every day and Made, Putu and Putri looked after our many needs so well. We recommend doing an e-bike tour and eating at Suka Espresso. Whatever you do do not eat at Embers Restaurants. A beautiful villa and location and even better people here made this a wonderful stay.

    Villa Alamanda really is a hidden tranquility. It was so lovely to explore Bali each day and then return here in the afternoon to our hidden sanctuary. The staff were all very helpful and polite and we enjoyed meeting them. The food was delicious. The housekeeping wonderful. The staff music music experience was fantastic. The villa massage was so relaxing. Ely, the villa manager was so helpful too. Even the weather was a bit raining but it didn't stop anything. Thank you for relaxing cultural experience. So lovely!

    We all enjoy the food prepared by Chef Nyoman. It is delicious, and suitable for our taste. Even the children and my Grandma can enjoy it. And surprisingly, Chef Nyoman can prepare quite many variety. Should try his Crispy Duck!! And above of all, the staff, even the manager Ely, are friendly, very helpful. They are Putu, Putri, Deduk, and security also very helpful. We are pleasant with the stay, because the surrounding is peaceful, the staff is helpful. We will stay here again if we happen to visit UBUD. Thank you all for your assistance.

It has been such a fantastic stay in this enchanted villa on the island of the Gods - just like paradise.     Thank you for having us at your wonderful villa. Everything at the villa was over and above what we expected. The staff were terrific and we always felt cared for and very well looked after. Ely, the manager was very helpful and great at recommending activities and things to see. Eating at the villas is an experience not to be missed. Nyoman, the chef is an incredible cook with a smile that will brighten your world. we tried something different every night which meant we sampled a wide variety of Indonesian dishes. We even participated in a cooking class in the villa kitchen where we learnt the secrets to delicious incredible Indonesian cooking. All the staff were polite, attentive and made our stay enjoyable. We will definitely be back.

    Ely gave us great sightseeing ideas. Nyoman was especially caring and patient, he helped to buy us delicious mangosteens everyday. Made was top in leading his team to provide excellent service. My father was sick throughout the whole trip and you guys took special care of him and treated him like your own father. You all entertained our kids and treated them like they were your own kids. You made sure they had their hot chocolates, nutella, ice cream and chicken whenever they requested for it. Nyoman prepared and cooked nice food - pizzas, local delicacies, desserts, pancakes etc you name it! It has been a perfect holiday all in all because of you guys - you never said 'No' to any of our requests and that's the best part. We hope to come here again and meet all of you soon. We love you.

    We thought the pictures on the website were amazing, but it does not do the spectacular Alamanda justice. What a breathtakingly BEAUTIFUL place! The team were so warm, welcoming, and nothing was too difficult . It has been the perfect holiday. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. The grounds and gardens were picturesque. The food was delicious. The village and surrounds were enchanting. But the absolute highlight was the sparkling pool. We could spend all day there! We would never stay anywhere else in Bali.

    The team here are wonderful. The menu is great but what we were impressed with was Nyoman's ability to cook dish we wanted - clean, fresh food.     We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Alamanda.The villa and the garden are beautiful. We loved the pool - the perfect place to relax after sightseeing and other activities. Apparently there is a TV room but we never needed it. While its not located in a typical Ubud padi field setting we did enjoy being in a village setting and out of the main tourist area. The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive, but not overly so. They made this the most relaxing family holiday we have ever had. The food was delicious.

    Villa Alamanda is a very nice property, with spacious bedrooms and the pool area is lovely. The staff is excellent and we had a very enjoyable stay there. Note that there is no attached common sitting area, and that the pool area is removed from the house itself, down a level and around the corner. It is very lovely though. The staff is wonderful and Ibu Made prepares the best food.

    We loved staying at Villa Alamanda, everything was great. Very minor comments include one bedroom's aircon could have been a bit cooler, but it is being replaced early October and in our group we had an elderly person, so the bathrooms provided a bit of a challenge since the (lovely) showers were over deep baths with steps. We stayed as an extended family in Ubud for a wedding at another venue and Villa Alamanda was like a luxury home away from home, with all the attention and more of a resort, but we had it just to ourselves. The staff are amazing and the cook Ibu Made is incredible - the manager was really considerate and I would highly recommend this amazing place to anyone wishing for peace, quiet, attention, a wonderful pool and gardens and just an fabulous experience. Thanks very much to all.

    This is our second visit to Alamanda and once again we had a fantastic time. Everything about this little gem is delightful. The personal yoga classes, spa treatments and massages, the wonderful cooking, the beautifully kept grounds and above all the STAFF. Without the staff it would be just another lovely villa. We were made to feel very special and cared for. We also love the fact the villa is outside of Ubud in a working village so we can soak up the sounds and atmosphere. Cant wait for an opportunity to return..

    Ibu Made and staff make this villa just the best place to stay that anyone could imagine. The location is excellent, just a few minutes drive into Ubud and sitting peacefully on the side of a hill. Very quiet, clean and relaxing place to stay. The pool is amazing and our children had a lot of fun swimming and playing in the water. Don't bother eating out as Ibu Made and her team are amazing cooks and will provide anything that you ask for. We are a group of 4 adults and 4 children and everyone's food needs were looked after. I highly recommend this villa for families.

    Our stay at the villa was absolute luxury. The staff were brilliant, couldn't do enough for us, but also friendly and relaxed. They were fabulous with my 15 month old daughter Ella - the chef, Ibu Made, even watched her for a couple of hours one morning while my husband and I had massages. The food is divine. Many reviews mentioned the food and said we would not want to go out - given we had been to Bali before, and eaten out for every meal, I didn't really believe this. We ended up having dinner in more often than we went out - and the best meals we had in Bali were at the villa (and at the Bridges restaurant, where the food is excellent but pricey for Bali). The location outside of Ubud is not an issue, and the great facilities and large grounds and pool area are a real bonus. If you are in a group, I would highly recommend this villa.

    Great place to spend a week in beautiful Bali - within the gorgeous village of Tengulak and only 15 - 20 mins away from the great shopping and restaurants of Ubud. We really enjoyed walking around the village, visiting the local school and temples. Can't recommend highly enough - all meals top quality, all staff were amazing (thank you Made & Ibu Made). We will be back.

    Villa Alamanda was wonderful. The setting is beautiful with a jungle backdrop. The pool area is particularly attractive and totally private. Bedrooms are tastefully presented in Balinese style and the dining area is under cover on the verandah overlooking the jungle. The staff are friendly and available when required, never intruding on your privacy. The food cooked by the chef is prepared with fresh ingredients sourced from the market daily and represented the best Indonesian food we experienced in Bali. We were a family of 7 meeting for a reunion and could not have asked for more. I would have no hesitation recommending this property for those seeking an alternative to boring generic hotels.

    We have arrived home recommending Villa Alamanda to friends, family and work mates as a great place to escape to. Nothing was too hard, we were organised without being intruded on. Everyone loved the pool for swimming and hanging out. As friends with teenagers there was privacy and communal space and we thought it was great to have a tv space that was comfortable but not prominant.

    We stayed at Villa Alamando for three nights before we went to Seminyak for a week there in another house. We regret that we didn't spend moredays in Ubud and Alamanda. The house was great , the location likewise and the staff was excellent more than excellent actually, we had tears in our eyes when we had to leave.
    We have nothing but good things to say about Alamanda and can recommend it to anyone who likes to visit Bali.

    Really pleasant stay. Bedrooms were a great size, the air conditioning leaked in the master bedroom on the 2nd day but that was a minor thing. Bathrooms were lovely but baths were so big it would take forever to fill up given the water pressure. Would be good if there was a living space to watch TV/DVD that wasn't one of the bedrooms. The pool and surrounding area was the highlight. Stunning.

    We thorougly enjoyed our stay at Villa Alamanda and were disappointed it went so quickly! We loved the look and feel of the villa and the grounds. The grounds and the pool were so beautiful, we rarely left them. One of the biggest positives was the staff. Having the same set of staff consistently meant we felt we got to know them. Their level of attention to detail and their friendly attitude made us feel pampered and welcome. And of course Ibu Made's cooking!!! I'm afraid we worked her very hard, eating in every night because her cooking was so good! We would love to go back to Villa Alamanda when we can.

    This villa was a fantastic holiday experience. We had room to spread out or be together as a family. Everything was spotless and the staff were exceptionally well trained and hospitable. I highly recommend this for a family mix of 8 people. We had 2 grannies, 2 babies, a teenager and 3 young parents and it was great. Edi was our driver for 10 hours per day and he was brilliant. The laundry was done daily (even ironed!!!) if we dropped clothes in the basket. It is a great rest for a mum.

    villa Alamanda is à lovely villa in à beautifull surrounding. everything you need is available in the house. The very friendly and profesional staf is always there to help you. Ibu Made is a very, very good cook. She always comes with ideas for à daytrip and suggestion for an outstanding meal. As on Bali, the temperature is always nice, so therefor you do not miss the absence of an indoor livingroom as we are used to in Europe. The driver takes you everywhere you want. it is no option to take a little stroll from the villa into the neighbourhood.
    We would recommend this villa to everyone!

    lovely place to stay. The cook Ida was really great. Great place to relax but pity about the goat track to get to the villa. The middle floor bathroom is very tired and the floor drainage needs to be looked but overall we had a lovely time. Rod B
