Set on a lot in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elitehavens.com\/bali-rental-villas\/indonesia-villas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bali<\/a> surrounded by palm trees large enough to cover its 8-foot high surrounding fence, Villa 1880 is reminiscent of a colonial plantation. Owned by an interior designer and a vintage store owner, the tastefully decorated villa includes among its decor a large boulder on the sand, a giant stuffed peacock, and china from a shipwreck. Other modern touches are seen in upholstery from Herm\u00e8s and clusters of modern hanging lamps. But if you feel like taking a stroll, Batu Belig Beach is only 500 metres away. The villa is also a close drive to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elitehavens.com\/seminyak-luxury-villas\/bali-indonesia-villas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Seminyak<\/a> and Canggu. This is Bali at its best, with food that lives up to expectations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">We interviewed Chef Adi Sutrisna, who shared with us his recipe for Lemon Butter Salmon with Couscous. Simple but flavorful, the dish was made with fresh vegetables and salmon. The couscous was freely dribbled with lemon butter sauce and vegetable stock. Why do you make this dish?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Chef Adi: I like everything. I like making this dish because there are many Asian flavours and I like them all.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Elite Havens: Ah, the different flavours. Why do you like them?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Chef Adi: I think all food is essentially the same. There is no good food or bad food. Italian, Asian, they are all good.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Elite Havens: Do your guests at the villa agree?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Chef Adi: In the villa, we have guests from all over the world. They all like my flavours because I use all kinds, especially Asian.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Elite Havens: What\u2019s your main dish usually made of? Beef, pork, seafood?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Chef Adi: I like salmon. Western with Asian. But in the end, they are all equally good and unique.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\"><strong>Lemon Butter with Couscous<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>Ingredients : <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">200gr salmon<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">50gr butter<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">1lbs shallot<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">5 tbsp lemon juice<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">150gr couscous<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Mix paprika<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">1 large onion<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Stock vegetable<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Oil<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Salt and pepper<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">1 cup of coconut oil<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Directions : <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>1. Make vegetable stock<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Boil ingredients such as vegetables, carrots, onion, celery, and bay leaves<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">After boiling +\/- 30 minutes, drain and strain<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>2. Make lemon butter sauce<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Melt butter with a mild temperature<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Mix butter, lemon juice, salt, pepper and onions<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>3. Sear the salmon<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Heat up a frying pan<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Clean the salmon then drain<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Season the salmon with salt and pepper<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Add some butter to the frying pan<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Cook salmon for each side one and a half minute (medium heat)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>4. Make the Couscous<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Chop the onion and paprika<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Heat up a pan then add some coconut oil<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Add the onions, peppers and couscous, stir until smooth<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Add vegetable stock and cook for 3-4 minutes<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>5<\/strong>.
