    WOW!!! What a wonderful stay!!!. The villa is so perfect. Every detail, every inch is incredible, and he staff are beyond beautiful. Every request we had was met with a beautiful, friendly smile, and accommodated so well. The villa rooms are meticulously so well, and the grounds are so perfectly manicured. The kids love the pool and playing on the huge grassy area. We have absolutely LOVED every single second of our stay and will happily recommend to friends back home. We love Villa San.     We loved staying here. The compound arrangement was perfect for our family get-together. We loved the dinning table so much that even when we weren't eating, we liked to sit there and chat. The staff members are superb, always alert of our needs, friendly and sincere to the children that make them feel welcomed, yet they keep adequate distance (Covid-19 protocol). They always make sure the facilities are ready to be used. Food was always on time and according to our requests. Overall, the stay here was memorable and enjoyable and we felt sad that we had to leave.

    Excellent bedrooms and the food was the best. I loved the folding of the towels and napkins. The pool was awesome. For 4 days we were looked after by the staff of Villa San to a degree not experienced before. The rooms were spacious and clean, the food prepared in house was traditional and to a high standard. The garden and pool are immaculately keeps by wonderful staff. We will definitely bring my family here again.

    This is our first trip to Bali with our family. We arrived really late at night time around 3 o'clock, but the staff were still waiting for us in villa, and prepare the food for us. Also, the environment and the weather is excellent here, clean and comfortable. Our family do really enjoy staying in the villa rather than going outside. We are definitely going to stay in Villa San again next time when we come to Bali!

    All staff members were extremely friendly. The pool was great because it was always nice and warm. Whenever we needed something - pool towel, drink or snack it was always offered or there.     Thank you for sharing this beautiful house. We have had such a wonderful time here celebrating our sons 21st birthday. Being so close to Ubud shopping and cafes. We didn’t need to travel far to find our days full. Staff here were superb and were at hand at all times without being obtrusive.     Our stay in Villa San has been perfect in every way. The setting is wonderful and we were all able to meet together as a family of 11 for the first time in 6 years. The villa is a fantastic haven of peace and tranquility. We were so impressed with the staff – the gardener who keep the grounds so beautiful and the pool so clean; Delman and his kitchen team provided us with delicious food; Adi is an amazing butler who catered for our needs in a friendly way; Kuta was our star driver and nothing was too much trouble for him.     VillaSan is wonderfully located in the heart of Ubud, the staff are extremely accommodating and helpful. Having the transport included with 8 hours a day of a driver was a bonus. We all enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone in a large group.

    My family and I had a wonderful stay at Villa San. The villa and gardens are beautifully kept and very clean. The staff are amazing and couldn't do enough to please us. A very special thank you to Mika the manager who went out of his way to be helpful and even organized a beautiful dinner and decorations in the garden for my son-in-law's birthday. A big thank you to Adi for being so kind and amazing with the children who loved having him play with them and to Kuta who was always willing to drive us anywhere. We would definitely come back and would recommend this beautiful villa to anyone staying in Ubud as the place to be.

    A holiday to remember for a lifetime! Mika, Adi, Kuta and all the staff went to amazing lengths to make our eight nights in Villa San absolutely magical and perfectly relaxing. We were all especially taken by the beautiful decorations and the meal prepared on the last night for our mother’s 60th birthday celebration, and how patient and attentive all staff were towards the small children. This will be a holiday we brag about and remember fondly for many many years!

    It’s been a great couple of days. Adi has been an exceptional host organizing an amazing bike tour with Eco Cycling and cooking class. We had fabulous massage on the lawn beside the pool and delicious meals. Great sound system for music. Nina has much enjoyed the playroom & we have all enjoyed the pool after our day adventures. Rainy swims have also been a highlight. The staff here are exceptional, the best so far, very attentive to every detail. Thank you.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. While it's not the most spectacular villa - although it was excellent - the location is perfect, the staff were great, the food excellent, and our overall experience was exactly what we were looking for. The provision of a children's room, and lots of childrens films for the evenings when the adults were having dinner, meant the days passed very easily. The covered areas were ideal for a large group to enjoy a relaxed evening around the dinner table together. The staff were great, and really helped to make it an enjoyable stay.

    This is our second time in 2 months staying at Villa San for a corporate retreat, and the bedroom configuration and public spaces makes it very conducive to holding meetings in the villa. There is a dedicated meeting room upstairs, but the seating areas were more than enough to hold meetings together and separately. It is a really conveniently located villa, a very short walk into the center of Ubud. What really stood out for us was the staff, no request was too much trouble, and the chef kept us well fed with delicious snacks during afternoon meetings and feasts for dinner, so we rarely had to venture out. Thank you to Mika, Kuta and all your staff for making us so welcome, we enjoyed it so much we are booking for a 3rd time in October.

    Fantastic villa for a group, staff were amazing and we felt very special to share Bali with them. They arranged my special birthday and shared some local Bali customs with us which made the evening more special. Bedrooms and bathrooms are very clean and luxurious and nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

    The villa was fantastic - a little piece of serenity in a busy area. The staff were unobtrusive but did a great job and the chef produced some amazing meals. Our driver was great and explained a lot of things we would otherwise not have understood. We had a wonderful holiday and would not hesitate to recommend Villa San to anyone.

    You will not be disappointed with Villa San. We stayed to celebrate a family holiday with ages from 14 to 84. The Staff are outstanding and go above and beyond their duties to assist and help make sure you have an enjoyable stay. The bedrooms and bathrooms are comfortable modern clean and tidy. The grounds are just beautiful and so well kept. The massage service which comes to the Villa is reasonable with lovely staff. The location in Ubud is perfect, you can easily walk to the main areas. I would recommend this Villa to anyone wanting a Great Villa with a great location in Ubud. The staff are a credit and really make your stay.

    I am very happy with the stay. My family of 14 are very grateful for the care by your attentive staff. The generous space, modern facilities and lovely meals contributed to a very relaxing stay for all of us. We love the pool & the lawn area. The latter was great for badminton. We also love the two media rooms with the big screens. The day before our yoga session, the staff were busy cleaning up the courtyard area at the back of the villa. Unfortunately the rain came the next morning & we couldn't make use of the courtyard. To deal with the rain the staff helped shift around a few pieces of furniture so we can still have yoga lessons under sheltered areas. The location of Villa San is also very central. It's really just 5 mins walk from Ibu Oka's house (which is where they now grill & sell the pork dish). Another 2 mins stroll takes you to Ubud market. One of my perennial worry about Bali is the vicious mozzies. But the staff took good care of the place & there was not a bite while we were there! Perhaps one little improvement would be the masterbedroom shower. The drainage was blocked when we we were using it & the ever helpful Wayan Adi explained that this was due to cement blockage during some previous reparation work. We only took showers of 5-7 mins as anything longer would've meant a flooded shower stall. Another minor point was the bank charges (a measly US$10 each time you transfer). The owner or the agent insists on passing on charges imposed by its own bank for receipt of funds. I take full responsibility for the charges imposed by my bank but to make me stump out the charges for the other side of things....i didn't think that was fair.

    This is a marvellous villa for a family. The children have space and toys, while its easy to keep an eye on them. We found the staff went out of their way to assist us, the two Wayan's were marvellous with the little children, as were other staff. We ate most meals in, and the cook and others made delicious Indonesian meals, as well as kid specific requests and special treats. We enjoyed the walk to the rice fields nearby and found we walked into the main shopping area, which is close by, only a few times. Thanks everyone. We would love to return.

The staff was completely attentive and made our stay perfect. We brought our 2 boys (3 & 5) and they were wonderful with them. Truely amazing experience!

    The villa itself was stunning but what we were most impressed with was the excellent service from Mika and his team. They were attentive, flexible and made sure that everyone in our group had a magnificent time...I honestly cant praise them highly enough. With that said the villa itself is beautiful, spacious and very well designed. The location being so close to Central Ubud is also definitely worth considering as it offers a lot of flexibility.

    The villa and the staff were absolutely wonderful. The rooms and bathrooms were luxurious and the pool was large and just the right temperature. A few more sun lounges around the pool would have been nice, but otherwise I can't fault Villa San in any way. A special thanks to Wayan Adi and all the staff, the chef, the driver, the security people and waiters - everyone was polite, helpful, and we couldn't have asked for anything better. Thank you for making our stay a holiday we will always remember.

    We were very delighted to find such a beautiful and spacious villa so close to Ubud Centre! And to have the whole villa all to ourselves were just a godsend. The Villa Manager, Pak Wis and all the other staff members put their utmost effort to ensure your needs are met. They even organised a birthday cake for our friend! Couldn't have asked for a better service! Spa for 10 people all in the villa? No problemo! Pak Wis effortlessly organised all that for us while we went about doing other activities. We highly recommend this villa for any families or group of friends who want fuss free organising of activities for big groups. Thank you all for making our trip very memorable, and we will definitely come back and stay in the villa again!
